The information on the plot is not real. it is the opposite story. It is a vandalism and offensive against a caste. The real story is another one. Kumaranthiru199189 (talk) 05:12, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

Bakasuran → Bakasuran (2023 film) – To avoid confusion with Bakasura and with another film Buckasura. 122.178.74.157 (talk) 17:56, 21 February 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). Steel1943 (talk) 16:15, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

- 122.178.74.157, what happens with Bakasuran if this page is moved to the disambiguated title? If you want Bakasuran to be moved to disambiguated title, why not the other two as well? In my opinion, a good hatnote works very well in clarifying this confusion. ─ The Aafī (talk) 18:16, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. This move creates unnecessary disambiguation, where a hatnote would do just fine.
- @TheAafi, pings don't work with IP editors, so I've added a TB to their talk page. Silikonz💬 18:20, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Silikonz, thanks for that. I wasn't sure about the ping stuff. ;) new addition to my knowledge. I just logged off from my system and I'm moving this discussion to contested ones ─ The Aafī on Mobile (talk) 18:23, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- This is a recent low-budget local movie made only in Tamil language. 122.178.74.157 (talk) 18:27, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- The question remains: If the 2023 film isn't the primary topic, what should Bakasuran be? A disambiguation page? A primary redirect? 162 etc. (talk) 18:57, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- Please redirect. Only this movie is named as "Bakasuran". Other movies like Master (2021 film), Beast (2022 Indian film) also named in this way. 122.178.74.157 (talk) 01:14, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- This is because there is no primary topic for Master and Beast and Bakasuran appears to be the primary topic here. ─ The Aafī (talk) 07:33, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- Bakasura is Primary topic. Many people are visiting the film because it is released 4 days ago. 122.178.74.157 (talk) 14:08, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

- Comment: Per the nominator, the move seems to be to redirect Bakasuran to Bakasura as a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT situation. However, unless there is evidence there is another film named "Bakasuran", the preferred move title would be Bakasuran (film) per WP:PRECISE. Steel1943 (talk) 16:20, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Aside from the fact that there is no other article with an identical title, the film got almost 19,000 views yesterday. For now, at least, the film is the WP:primary topic that the large majority of readers expect to find at this title. This can always be reconsidered in a few months if things change dramatically. Station1 (talk) 19:24, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per exactly what Station1 has said above. A hatnote works fine for now. ─ The Aafī (talk) 19:56, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose Case for a hatnote not a disambiguator in the title. - Samuel Wiki (talk) 16:22, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
