Mileena

edit

Until we know that Mileena and/or Baraka's ending Deception endings are canon, I think Mileena should stay an ally. Pending change to enemy of course. Since I do think that at least Mileena's ending and part of Baraka's ending will be canon.

Baraka obviously won, I mean come on, the game creators are not going to kill a fan favorite, that would be stupid, besides, Baraka would OWN her with ease, she sucks, Baraka rule, at least he rules for a lame mortal kombat character

This is NOT a place to discuss whether one character is better than the other! Use a MK fansite for that! Anyway presiding comments Milena IS ALSO set as a fan favorite and has been liked by many players. There is also the video in Deception between Mileena and Baraka to consider. Though it was more than likely made as advertisment and fun (Such as the Intro in Armageddon and the Scorpion vs Quan Chi fight in Deadly Alliance). Jamesbuc

The fight between Mileena and Baraka in the video IS canon, since it is in Mileena ending. It is won by Mileena who kills the opponent. In Baraka ending it is reveled that he was not Baraka, but another Tarkatan sent in his place. In that ending Baraka then kills Mileena, but this isn't canon, because in her Armageddon bio she is alive and still leads the edenian warriors. Then why doesn't Baraka fights her in Armageddon and she doesn't want to kill him? Probably during the events of Deception the two fought (instead of Baraka killing Mileena), Baraka won but forgived her because he loves her somewere deep in his heart, as his Armageddon ending reveals.

Include move sets?

edit

Just coming from personal experience, often I find myself going to wikipedia, often when I am trying to find a particular move set for an MK character from google. Because I am a Mortal Kombat fan (Baraka is my personal favorite) I would like to see a list of all the move commands on a separate linked wiki-page ment to deal specifically for the move commands of all the MK characters (not on this page, of course). I think that it is a bit misleading to people who search via a search engine to the most prominant information site on the web, and not be able to get any of the raw information needed (Seriously, if you are going to list and describe every fatality, why isn't there any information on how to actually perform the fatality?). Just a thought, is all...

Wikipedia isn't a game guide, and how to perform moves simply isn't encyclopedic. Now, that said, several members of the MK WikiProject, myself included, have discussed setting up a MK-specific wiki that would have such details as moves and whatnot. Thanks. Well, at least there is something being done about it. The point I was trying to make was that because when you search up any MK character or moveset, the first, the very first link you get is to the wikipedia article. I found it slightly misleading/annoying that there isn't any real information here for real MK fans. Plus, I think that you can also concede that most of the free-floating websites out there do not all have the same move-patterns for each character, even for the exact same version of MK! I think that a true, tested and reliable source for movesets/fatalities/etc., that actually works would be quite beneficial for us gamers.

Wouldnt WikiBooks contain this sort of stuff usually? It contains move listings for capcom characters. Jamesbuc

Game Information

edit

At the bottom where it says He is the only character to switch to or remain in his weapon style after being defeated. All other characters revert to their first fighting style if using weapons, or remain in the same style if not., it's inaccurate. It's true that Baraka is the only character to switch to his weapons style after being defeated, but he's not the only character to stay in that style. I've played as Mileena and there have been times when I've been defeated. When she is knocked down where she's on her belly, she'll stand up after groaning, and her sais will still be usable. Now, given my long explanation, I'm going to change it so it says that he is the only character to switch, and I'll leave it at that. Lorilei Mackenzie 04:46, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Deadpool?

edit

Any body mention that Wade Wilson/Deadpool's transformed appearance (Weapon XI) in Wolverine film looks similar to Baraka? (JoeLoeb (talk) 00:28, 11 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

I don't think so, he looks nothing like him Eliskuya2 (talk) 15:15, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
