Battle was 18th September 1804, not 15th September 1804
edithttps://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/15788/page/333 has a letter written by Captain James Lind of the Centurion to the Admiralty dated 19th September 1804, where he describes the events of the battle 'yesterday' so clearly the battle took place on the 18th September 1804 and not 15th September 1804.. Unfortunately the same date error propagates its way through several other articles linked to this one.
