It is only because of the tragic death of this individual that I have not listed this entry for deletion. If there are any fans of this person reading this I would comment that this is a very poor article, and it would be a better memorial to the subject if it were improved. 1/28 and page 128

edit

It is said in Taiwanese News sources that she talking about death in her diary on page 128. She was also 28 and her memorial will be on 2/8. This is strange! Should we add something like this to the article. Frankyboy5 02:42, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

So-called coincidences

edit

I'm not familiar with this actress. But, I'm sure that it isn't that suitable to put so many so-called coincidences about the date she died. If you love her, you would want to respect her, and won't count on such coincidences - isn't that not unfortunate enough? And, as per WP's pillars, it doesn't make sense to put something unverifiable, something just "coincidental". 12.8 or 1.28 only creates a list of "coincidences" which won't ever end.

Let me put it this way:

It seems strange that she passed away at age 28 on 1/28 (January 28th) and that she was writing about death on page 128 in her "Dan Dan" diary, published two years ago. Her family memorial was on 2/8 (February 8th).

A magazine was found in the ruined vehicle opened to the page of a Death Note 2 advertisement, stained with her blood. This is interesting because the main character of Death Note, Light Yagami, also dies on January 28th.

In the drama she was filming, she played a girl with heart problems. She was scheduled to film a surgery scene on the 1/28 (January 28th).

Eighteen years ago on the same exact day, another singer passed away in an accident. She was rushing for a scene.

Her assistant's house number is 128 (her assistant was driving at the time of the accident).

It appears that her death has an uncanny connection to the numbers 1, 2 and 8.

The above all sounds nonsense to me. It's not really suitable to speculate about someone's death. That lacks respect for the deceased.--Fitzwilliam 17:25, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think there is a huge cultural difference in judging what is relevant and what is not. In a Chinese society where many people believe in buddhism and reincarnation, the repeating of history regardless of how coincidental could be interpreted as a confirmation of what they believe in religiously. To the Christians in the West, two similar accidents happening on the same day 18 years apart would mean nothing because the two victims should have gone to two different realms afterward and could never be related. However, the same is viewed totally differently in different culture and religion. For those who believe in reincarnation, lifetime of some individuals simply repeat over and over again according to fate, so this person could be the same soul that recycled 18 years ago. I'd suggest someone add this kind of religious interpretation to the article because people who don't believe in reincarnation will never understand how significant these repeating numbers mean to someone else. Fitzwilliam's comment above clearly demonstrated the cultural difference I am talking about here. Kowloonese 23:47, 28 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hsu Wei Lun kannte ich überhaupt nicht, erst als Sie gestorben ist. Ich finde es sehr schade das so ein tolles schönes Mädchen gestorben ist, und das noch so jung. Schade das Sie in Deutschland nie populär wurde.
