Notability
editThis person is in the news because of the move of the QE2 to Dubai. Could it be merged to a section of the QE2 page?
- yes. People that are basically publicly known for only one thing are generally not considered notable for Wiki purposes, unless that one thing is something incredibly important(e.g. Gavrilo Princip). There is already a brief mention of this particular lady on the QE2's own page. Also, it's not a good idea to sign your edits on article pages proper, this is only required on talk pages like this, where editors discuss articles and other points of note. Thank you for the article tho, I hope you go on to create many more, and thanks also for choosing to discuss the deletion on this page, I appreciate it. - I redirected it to the QE2 article, in per WP:BLP1E, as you said. She's already mentioned there, and it seems like a plausible search term considering the amount of news it generated. --AmaltheaTalk 21:48, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
