This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...

She is a nationally known journalist and author, working at one of the largest public radio stations in the USA and frequently heard nationally on NPR. She has won A Murrow award, a duPont award, and many others. She's been published or quoted in CNN, USA Today, New York Times, etc. She's written a book.

Although not in the article (yet - maybe not ever), her reporting on the fall of the trade towers on 9/11 has fueled the 911-truthers who claim - well, I'm not sure exactly what they claim, but they cite her reportage a lot. She has disavowed their interpretations.

See http://rethink911.org/evidence/twin-towers/eyewitness-accounts-twin-towers/ for an example.

Obviously, we'd need to treat this carefully, if at all.

Looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:NPR_personalities i don't think it's a stretch at all to include her. I know, "Other stuff exists" is not a good argument, but her name really does belong alongside the others based on hr prominence as a correspondent for NPR.
