LEAD Sentence

edit

Right now the lead sentence makes two claims that I find difficult to understand. Specifically "the first Chinese-American woman lawyer in Southern California in the 1960s, and first founding CEO of a savings and loan bank." Was she the first Chinese-American woman lawyer in Southern California? What first was she in founding the bank? Simply the first CEO? Or the first woman Chinese-American CEO of a savings and loan? Or the first woman Chinese-American CEO of a savings and loan in Southern California? All this needs to be clarified and for any of the first claims backed up with a source, preferably in the body of the article. I attempted to remove these claims but was undone by SWP13. >>My responses. 1. She was the first Chinese-American woman lawyer in Southern California. True. 2. She was a founding member of 2 banks. The 2nd bank, she was the chairperson and CEO. At the time she started the bank, there was no chairman and CEO of a savings bank that was Chinese-American woman in the United States. I hope this clarifies. Source is in reference as fedpartnership.gov. SWP13 (talk) 01:38, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
