Doubt Regarding images of Bhagwa Dhwaj
editHello everyone who are working on this wikipedia page like me. This would be the first discussion here and I feel I should do it. The problem I am seeing here is that first I added a pic of Bhagwa Dhwaj of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh named Bhagwa Dhwaj.png which was removed I think by a bot saying it violated a policy and I cant understand, please can tell anyone me what should we do as I feel that it would be important for here or something similar to it. The other problem is the Om inscribed on Bhagwa Dhwaj, I feel os not relevant to it as it is not used but another variant with of the Arya Samaj is good enough for it.
Regards

- @Yamantakks: I do not think the image offers any useful content to the article which is not already in the text. It looks like it fails item 8 at WP:NFCCP. Bazza (talk) 09:09, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
Regarding a doubt for any improvements in the article
editHello everyone its me again, sorry, or hello i dont know what to say, but I have a doubt that I feel that this article really needs further improvement and I feel that it needs more expansion.
I did a bit of self research and by the lack of knowledge of wikipedia's guidline, added that, I think that would benefit someone if they need something to write and I dont know exactly, but here it is, you can also copy paste it if you find reliable citations.
**Symbolism of Bhagwa Dhwaj**
The **Bhagwa Dhwaj**, also known as the saffron flag, holds significant symbolism in various cultural, religious, and political contexts within India. The flag, often bearing the color saffron or orange, is marked by its historical and contemporary associations, making it a complex emblem in Indian society.
**Historical Origins**
The Bhagwa Dhwaj finds its roots in ancient Indian history and Hindu mythology. The color saffron has been traditionally associated with renunciation, asceticism, and spiritual enlightenment. In Hinduism, saffron is revered as the color of fire, which symbolizes purity, knowledge, and the burning of material desires. This symbolism is reflected in the attire of many Hindu ascetics and monks, who often don saffron robes.
**Religious Significance**
The Bhagwa Dhwaj has gained religious connotations, particularly within Hinduism. It is considered as a representation of Hindu identity and unity. The flag is often flown in temples, ashrams, and during religious processions as a mark of devotion. In Hindu festivals and rituals, the saffron flag is used to invoke spiritual energy and to express reverence to deities.
**Cultural Identity**
Beyond its religious implications, the Bhagwa Dhwaj holds cultural significance. It is seen as a representation of India's rich cultural heritage and a reminder of the country's historical past. The flag evokes sentiments of unity among diverse communities and serves as a symbol of shared values and traditions.
**Political Usage**
In the political sphere, the Bhagwa Dhwaj has been adopted by various movements and organizations. It has become a symbol associated with Hindu nationalism and is often used to express support for causes that align with the ideology. The flag has been used by political parties, most notably the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its affiliated groups, to assert their vision of India's identity and governance.
**Controversies and Debates**
The Bhagwa Dhwaj's prominence in political and ideological contexts has generated debates and controversies. Critics argue that its usage by certain groups emphasizes a particular religious identity, potentially marginalizing other religious and cultural communities. Some view it as a symbol of exclusion and divisiveness, rather than unity.
**Modern Interpretations**
In recent times, efforts have been made to reinterpret the symbolism of the Bhagwa Dhwaj. Advocates emphasize its inclusive and cultural aspects, highlighting its potential to unite Indians across different backgrounds while respecting diversity.
**Conclusion**
The Bhagwa Dhwaj, with its historical, religious, cultural, and political undertones, remains a multifaceted symbol in Indian society. It serves as a testament to the complexity of identity and belief systems, reflecting both unity and diversity within the country's social fabric. As India continues to evolve, the interpretation and usage of the Bhagwa Dhwaj will likely continue to be subject to ongoing discourse and transformation.

- Hi @Yamantakks, most of it is meaningless babble.
The Bhagwa Dhwaj... holds significant symbolism in various cultural, religious, and political contexts within India
,The Bhagwa Dhwaj has gained religious connotations
,The Bhagwa Dhwaj, with its historical, religious, cultural, and political undertones, remains a multifaceted symbol in Indian society
– these are all perfect examples of babble that carries zero information; talking without saying anything. If I could be frank, such a writing style may belong to a high-school homework, not to an encyclopaedia. That's why, primarily, I reverted your addition (the other reason, the text being WP:OR). — kashmīrī TALK 08:58, 24 September 2023 (UTC)- Dear @Kashmiri, I said that I added so if anyone wants some points of like uading or something or thay may be of some use for someone who is willing, I know it have many major flaws and I accept that you were right while reverting my edits and I am apologizing for that edit I made. I was not sure but felt it may help so thats why.

- Ok, but people can see your edits in edit history, no need to paste it here. Editors won't use unsourced content. However, if you happen to have good sources about Bhagwa Dhwaj, please feel free to share them here. — kashmīrī TALK 09:19, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Yamantakks: Before you start added more material (all of which you will need to reference), how about supplying reliable sources for what is there already. I have added "citation needed" indicators for the large number of statements which have been made but without support. Bazza (talk) 09:50, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- Dear @Bazza 7, I know that I need citations for them and I will if I will edit the article just like how I did on the Headong of RSS and Bhagwa dhwaj one, thanks for copy editing it, I will be looking over it right away.
- Thanks and Regards

- @Yamantakks: Where did you get all your material from? If it's from your own experiences or thoughts, it's no good for Wikipedia. You may want to read the short essay WP:BACKWARDS. It may save you time and help guide you on how to expand this and other articles. Bazza (talk) 10:35, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
