Comment on article
editI am somewhat doubtful regarding WP:Corp compliance of this article. Also, no references and sources are given beside a company web-site, which, IMHO, also raises a question regarding the notability. However, since I am not an expert on the the notability of Indian companies, I am currently not proposing deletion. Kai A. Simon 20:42, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- The current stub certainly leaves a lot to be desired, but the organisation is a fairly large one and does deserve an article. Haphar 15:01, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Merge proposal
editAs it is just a stub, I would suggest that BEL Optronic Devices Limited be merged with this article.
There are no Google News hits, Google News Archives gives 4 hits, Google Scholar has no hits, Google Books has 2 hits, and no significant hits from reliable sources at Google Search.
If there are any objections, I'd appreciate it if you would leave a message here. If I do not hear anything from anyone within a week, I will perform a merger following the procedures listed at WP:MM. -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 14:35, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- I support the merge. There is already a section in this article for it so it would be quick and easy. The subsidiary page does not have enough info or sources, as you pointed out, to stand alone. LogicalFinance33 (talk) 19:10, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Do not Merge proposal
editI suggest that this artical should not merge with BEL, becouse of 1.this is subsidiaty of BEL. 2.This company is only one, witch manufacure image intesifier in India. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.95.11.168 (talk) 16:19, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Even I feel that the subsidiaries should not be merged with this article as the objectives of the subsidiary companies are only to build expertise with exclusive limited commitments which may not follow forever and not consistent with the parent company's broad profile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.249.29.230 (talk) 11:43, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
