External links
edit- Official Website of Nanoscience and Technology, Bharathiar University
- Official Website of Academic Staff College, Bharathiar University
- Official Website of School of Commerce, Bharathiar University
All the above mentioned links are official website of different departments of the university. As per Wikipedia:EL Wikipedia articles about any organization, person, website, or other entity should link to the subject's official site, if any. So the addition of above links in the external links is justified
- First, you are misusing the above guideline. If you read it carefully it says "Wikipedia articles about X should link to the subject's official site" (my emphasis). So only a link to the subject's website is allowed, and the subject of the article is the university, not the departments. In addition, per WP:ELOFFICIAL "More than one official link should be provided only when the additional links provide the reader with unique content and are not prominently linked from other official websites." These are all very prominently linked at the website of the university. --Muhandes (talk) 12:27, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
