editadded 3 categories and 1 new link, fixed awkward sentence structure in descriptive paragraph, added that the translated name is 'Tomb of the Lady'. (verified by link [1]).
There is still some info that is inconsistent: the new link indicates that the mother's name is not 'Dilras Bano Begam' but 'Rabia Durani' (i did not change this in the wiki article). Also the original wiki article said that the monument was built in 1660, but the new link says that it was built in 1679. I doubt the building was built in only one year, so as a compromise i put that it was built in the 'late 17th century'. Dostoyevskydork 22:38, 29 May 2006 (UTC)Dostoyevskydork
Crores?
editDo not use obscure Indian numerical terms that nobody outside the subcontinent understands. As currently written, I'm not sure how to rewrite it using standard numbers ("several tens of millions" is awkward), but somebody who knows the exact number should fix this. john k (talk) 05:20, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
It has contradictory information, on the top it says Aurangzeb constructed this in memory of his wife Dilras Banu but the picture at the bottom shows a plaque at the entrance of the monument, it clearly says it is constructed by Aurangzeb's son Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.210.98.207 (talk) 08:39, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Built by Azam Shah not Aurangzeb
editThe Bibi ka Maqbara was built by Prince Azam Shah son of Aurangzeb contrary to what article says. See Gooogle Books results - [2] , [3] Also Arechological Survey board File:BKM Board.jpg confirms it- I am busy right now so leaving a note - will change the facts later.
