Questions to Answer
editIt's a little slim right now, let's build this out more! I'd like to know the answer to these questions:
- What were the names and address of businesses in Black Bottom?
- What were the addresses of significant figures who lived in Black Bottom?
- Where can we find photos of Black Bottom businesses / streets?

- For what it's worth 7 years later, I don't think the answers to these questions are encyclopedic in nature. casualdejekyll (talk) 20:10, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
Notable residents
editMost of the notable residents never lived in Black Bottom, which, according to the cited source (Binelli) was "destroyed in the 1950s." They lived in Brewster-Douglass. The one exception is Joe Louis. Kendall-K1 (talk) 21:28, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Of Current (Temporary) Interest
editI added a temporary note on this page to alert readers that there is a photography exhibit at the Detroit Public Libary through March 15, 2019. I think people interested in this page would be interested in that information. Since it is a comment that will no longer be accurate after March 15th, I have made myself a calendar reminder to update this once the temporary exhibit is over. If anyone knows of a better way to note this in the article, please let me know. Widjididji (talk) 20:05, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
I visited the exhibit. I was born in Black Bottom 1951. 3-4 families in a household? I never knew of one household like that. One of the stories of Black Bottom is the photos taken of the homes prior to demolishing the area. Insurance company was told they would see shacks. Instead they saw homes which were featured in the exhibit mentioned above. Not the richest place on earth but not one home on my block or surrounding blocks where I visited friends housed more than one family unless it was a two family flat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrownsonAlum (talk • contribs) 04:18, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
