Title is incorrect

edit

I do not know how to edit the title but the film is called 'You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder' so if someone with more Wikipedia knowhow could correct that, that'd be fab! 2A00:23C2:1A0A:A001:1D11:36DB:B946:3823 (talk) 18:05, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

edit

Please explain this edit, preferably this part:

Following Ewan McGregor's divorce from wife Eve Mavrakis and subsequent relationship with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ewan and Clara McGregor underwent a period of estrangement.[1] In July 2018, Clara McGregor called Winstead "a piece of trash" in a post on Instagram.[2] In January 2019, McGregor called her father an "asshole" for leaving her mother.[3] Ewan and Clara reconciled and Clara celebrated the birth of her father and Winstead's son Laurie in June 2021.[4]

Why are all these details needed? This seems like a soapbox and does not pertain to the production of the film. Please help me understand. And also, why is this your very first edit to Wikipedia?

This is background that informed the writing of the film. Clara McGregor's semi-autobiographical story idea for Bleeding Love was inspired in part by her own estrangement from her father and the film's story addresses a father and daughter's estrangement and subsequent reconcilation while on a road trip. In an interview with Deadline, Ewan McGregor even acknowledged that Clara's writing story idea for the film was "drawing from our story" and "developing a story that was about us".[1] Giving context for the production of the film is important for a full understanding of the film's themes and intent. Removing information is not a useful contribution when the alternative is just plainly regurgitating details from a few Deadline or Hollywood Reporter articles.

No that is synthesizing of sources to fit a narrative you are coming up with. We go by what reliable sources, such as Deadline write, which does not explicitly mention all those details. Mike Allen 18:31, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
