Given the Dutch history of the area (Schouten Islands), my guess is that it's pronounced the Dutch way as [blʏpblʏp] (ʏ is roughly like the second u in future). It is also a way in which the sound of bubbling-up gases would be transcribed in Dutch. Thayts•••11:15, 14 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

The only sentence in the history section seems to have been copied one-on-one from Kadovar without even changing the name of the island. Does this sentence indeed apply to Blup Blup too? Thayts•••13:01, 14 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
