- ... that American television reporter Bobbie Wygant has interviewed numerous celebrities throughout her long career? Source: "Bobbie Wygant has the answers, having interviewed countless stars as the longtime entertainment reporter for KXAS-TV (NBC5)" Link
- Reviewed: I've done less than 5 DYKs.

- I'll take this. It's new enough, user's 2nd DYK so no QPQ required. Sourcing is acceptable, although some of it is references to raw interviews meaning it should arguably be attributed (i.e. "Wygant says she researches her interviewees independently" to reflect that she could be shading the truth). It's mostly neutral, although I took the liberty of shaving off a slightly peacocky bit in the lede. However, I'm inclined to think that the hook suggestion is not interesting enough. Many television reporters interview celebrities, especially on stuff like "promote your latest movie", it's not really that special unless you get a truly unusual interview (e.g. the Frost-Nixon interview) or you're Barbara Walters. What do you think of this ALT1, OscarLake? SnowFire (talk) 09:33, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that reporter Bobbie Wygant got her first television show after filling in while its host was sick with the flu? (Source: [1] )
- I appreciate your honesty, and I can't disagree that the hook is kind of plain and boring. The 7 days time frame was running out and I wanted to get it in the DYK system before it was too late. I think Bobbie is among the most interesting people who didn't have a Wikipedia article until now, despite a long career in media. I'll rephrase the parts coming from primary sources. Source #1 used the term "part-time", so I wanted to find a suitable synonym so that it didn't look like a copyvio. I like your ALT1, it highlights how coincidences can sometimes change the course of your career or life. Thanks for having a look at this, Snow. OscarL 13:28, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- ALT1 approved then.
- Yeah, I wouldn't worry about plagiarism too much for short, factual sentences where there's only one good / accurate way to phrase it. The article as a whole doesn't seem to have plagiarism issues, so think we're g2g, although feel free to rephrase the primary source stuff a little if you get the chance.
