Adding Booktok subgroups to this article.
editI'm new to editing on Wikipedia, so I would welcome some advice before attempting to edit. I would like to add a list of subgenre hashtags that developed after the massive popularity of #booktok. These hashtags would be helpful in guiding people from this page to finding these recommendation videos on TikTok. Examples are #spicybooktok, #romancebooktok, #horrorbooktok, #thrillerbooktok. 'Culture' Section Feels Opinionated
editFrom the 'Culture' paragraph. "BookTok is like many interconnected book clubs with people making connections and giving their opinions of books. Some critique BookTok because many of the books that are popular are considered fluffy romances, but this community was made for those fluffy reads people love to talk about with their friends."
This reads to me as an opinion. The last sentence most certainly is, being formatted in the "Some say____but_____" format, where a criticism is presented and then rebuked. 31.221.25.163 (talk) 17:10, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- None of it is cited to a reliable source, so I've removed the content in question. Thank you for your suggestion. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 17:31, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
