Proposed change in title

Proposing that this page be changed to "List of All-Time Boston Celtics Players" because this is not an article, but a list, as there are no meaningful content in paragraph form. I disagree. This page contains the Boston Celtics all-time roster, so the title of this page is correct. Would you consider changing 50 Cent discography to, say, List of 50 Cent songs and records? I wouldn't.--Crzycheetah 05:37, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd assume sports and music would be in different categories for discussion. - Jameson L. As you can see at {{NBA All-Time rosters}}, there are a lot of pages with this type of title. NBA uses this form to list their rosters, this form is more popular in NBA than in any other sports. Yes, this is a list, no problems here, as is the 50 Cent discography. --Crzycheetah 06:00, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Positions

Many of the players' positions link to the article Basketball position, although their positions can be specified more accurately. E.g. Kevin McHale was a Power forward, but has "Forward", which links to Basketball position, next to his name. Also, abbreviations should be used, as through a simple click it is clear what position is meant by e.g. G.

At least one game criteria has been added

All other NBA lists follow the one game criteria, anyone that just signed a contract but never played a regular or postseason game is not listed in any databases. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 01:46, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
