First sentence maybe misleading

Bundesgrenzschutz (BGS; English: Federal Border Guard) is the former name of a special German Bundespolizei (Federal Police) unit.

The sentence is, at least to me, suggesting, that the BGS was just a unit of the Bundespolizei. The BGS was not a unit of the special German Bundespolizei, the BGS was the former name of the Bundespolizei.
