editHow did she win the 2005 AND 2006 awards both in Las Vegas in 2004?
The article says that Katsumi is a pun on Cat and Soumis. Does it matter that French for Cat is Chat (sounds like shot, without the t)? It's an odd pun for a French person to make.
Also, Katsumi is also a girl's name in Japan. ( see http://japanese.about.com/blgirlsname_k.htm )
How come the name has changed to Katsuni when that is incorrect? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.84.27.20 (talk) 23:51, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
In an interview on French television, she said she is from Vietnam, both her parents. So she is Vietnamese, not half Vietnamese. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.250.90.12 (talk) 15:31, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
The first paragraph seems to say she signed an exclusive contract with digital playground in 2006 and then it says it again but in 2007. Was that two separate contracts, first one only lasting a year, or is one of the dates wrong and the whole thing a bit redundant? Denny de la Haye (talk) 11:24, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
Father of Mother Vietnamese?
editThere is no reliable source which claims that her father is Vietnamese. That's why it shouldn't be mentioned. Also if you look at mixed White-Asian people, over 95% of the time their father is White and the mother is Asian. So it would be fair to assume it's actually her mother who is Vietnamese and married a White French man. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Psytrancefreedom (talk • contribs) 14:44, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- The text you deleted had a citation which led to an interview where this bit of text was present:
- Q: You have such an exotic beauty; what is your heritage?
- Katsuni : I am a half-half Vietnamese/French mix. My father is Vietnamese and my mother's family is from France.
- I think that's clear enough. Tabercil (talk) 16:55, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- He did the same thing with Tia Tanaka, assuming her father was white and mother vietnamese, when she's actually mostly vietnamese. Morbidthoughts (talk) 01:51, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Her civil name appears to be Céline Tran, this corroborate the previous (father from vietnamese decent). Sroulik (talk) 11:20, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- Allegedly that's her name. We don't know of a reliable source for it though... Tabercil (talk) 23:53, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Importance scale
editThe article is currently rated as "Mid" in Wikipedia:WikiProject Pornography's importance scale. Since her career has been quite succesful as far as porn stars go, with an unusually high number of awards and a notable mainstream mediatization in her native country, I think the page's importance might be rated as "high". Any opinions on that particular point ? I also asked a similar question about Asa Akira, although with Katsuni we must take into account that she had a career in two different countries so the context might be different. External links
editThere is no reason to have more than four links in the "External links" section, or five with consensus, but six or more is not acceptable. Otr500 (talk) 18:50, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
