Re: "San Diego"

edit

The book adaptations of the movies, not to mention the graphic novel adaptations, say Central City, NOT "San Diego" or "Ape Management". The relevant scenes were filmed in Century City (IMDb and articles included with the graphic novels support this), over a hundred miles from San Diego. I do not know where 69.122.210.59 got their information. Zephyrad (talk) 06:15, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

That is untrue. The term "Central City" is NOT from the adaptations. It's from the TV series and is the name of the apes' city, where Zaius and Urko work. You are simply incorrect. The term "Ape Management" is spoken onscreen, and is in fact where it takes place, and other stories, including Revolution on the Planet of the Apes, set the story in San Diego. Central City has no connection whatsoever to the films. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.122.210.59 (talk) 14:19, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Name

edit

It's been a while since I've seen the film but I could have sworn that he gets the name Caesar when he is told to pick a name out of book. I'll have to rewatch the movie to confirm though 74.229.215.99 (talk) 18:57, 10 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

He did but Armando does call him Caesar earlier in the film: http://www.potamediaarchive.com/images/Caesar1.jpg . Restore article

edit

This article should be restored. Caesar is perhaps the most important character in the Planet of the Apes franchise. I think he warrants his own article. Charles Essie (talk) 19:54, 17 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Significant enough for an article

edit

Is there any reason not to let Caesar have his own article at this point? He's the protagonist of a trilogy of critically praised blockbusters; I'd say he warrants having an article. Buh6173 (talk) 23:40, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

I think that Caesar is sterotype base on Spartacus in history--Việt Nam (talk) 08:15, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
