You are going to have to assert why this is notable if you want it to be on Wiki. Anyway, I see that your Youtube user name is in the list so you are probably just trying to blatantly advertise on Wikipedia. Gdo01 21:27, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (Image:ShinigamiEyes.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:ShinigamiEyes.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 01:07, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Aizawa.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Aizawa.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Please keep your personal observations to yourself, they have no place on Wikipedia. We deal in verifiable facts. Brock and the symbiote were destroyed. In the world of movie magic, yes, they could come back, but that is for another film, and not this one. Bignole 00:49, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The fact that his skeleton was seen wasn't proof enough? Where would his body go? There isn't any speculation going on, other than your own, and you're instituting it as fact. Bring it up on the talk page if you think otherwise, it's been discussed before. Bignole 00:55, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gash bell and kiyomaro takamine

edit

Did you mean to make two separate articles with identical content? Right now, Gash bell and kiyomaro takamine and Gash Bell and Kiyomaro Takamine are separate articles. In order to make improvements on one page also apply to the other, you could make one page redirect to the other. Lisatwo 03:59, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

On second thought, I'll just make the redirect myself. Lisatwo 04:01, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regarding ALL of your edits to every Zatch Bell Article

edit

Ok, this has been really bothering me, and I can't figure out how to revert everything you did. You changed the template, and I cannot figure how to change it back, and you've recently been making brand new pages for all the characters except making all of them japanese names. Why have you been doing this? There is nothing wrong with using the dubbed names for characters with dubbed names, and the system has been working smoothly since it was created. -XxKibaxX Talk 13:20, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I understand your point, however, as the dubbed versions of animes are being released, the pages have been slowly been converted to versions using dubbed names (example Naruto Uzumaki.) I see no problem with having a set of pages with the japanese version of everything, in fact it may be a good idea! Just, the dubbed pages should really be left alone. -XxKibaxX Talk 19:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • This is the English Wikipedia, so English names are used, period. The issue was decided a long time ago. I'm not pressing the issue since I don't edit Wikipedia anymore, but you really need to lay off with the Japanophilia. 71.110.2.111 05:39, 17 August 2007 (UTC) (artist formerly known as JuJube)Reply

FE10

edit

Please do *not* overwrite legitimate redirects without handling them properly (e.g. dab line on new redirected article).

In fact, please don't do that to FE10 at all; FE10 was the actual *name* of a relatively famous camera.

Your use is an informal abbreviation for a relatively new game. Yes, I'm sure that more people will probably play the Fire Emblem 10 game, but the issue here is use of the abbreviation itself . "FE10" isn't mentioned in the Fire Emblem article, and there's no indication that it's common.

("FE10" with "Fire Emblem" gets 631 unique Google hits; "FE10" with "Nikon" gets 35,600).

Please leave this and stop arrogantly assuming that because *you* like something it is more important.

Image source problem with Image:Clear Note.png

edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Clear Note.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VivioFateFan (Talk, Sandbox) 04:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't start the Zatch/Gash crap again

edit
  • Please, save everyone the trouble. JuJube (talk) 21:05, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
    • Proof? Also, don't think you can get away with sneakily arguing about "Gurabu" and "Keys" when you're really trying to replace "Zatch" with "Gash" again. JuJube (talk) 21:38, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
    • Let me state my point in other words. Show a scan of the English-language manga that gives the name as "Keys" or "Gurabu" and it can stay. (Not a Japanese scan of English letters, they are notoriously inconsistent). But "Zatch" CANNOT be replaced with "Gash". JuJube (talk) 21:41, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
      • No, that is my point. Anime-Destiny is a fansub organization, there's nothing official about it. Although there might be a point to be made about the approximations used being sourceless, too, they have been in place since I arrived. ("Kiees" is a source of controversy in the fandom, AFAIK. It's been romanized to Keys, Kiss, and Keith, and A-D hasn't really settled the issue). JuJube (talk) 00:00, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
        • I'm going to have to report you the next time you try to replace Zatch with Gash again. Don't do it. JuJube (talk) 23:56, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
          • I think your intent with your response was to insult me, so I'm gonna just go ahead and give you a WP:NPA warning. I will also tell you to stop being a weeaboo and accept Wikipedia policy. The fact that YOU think "Keys" is the "right name" doesn't make it so. There's nothing left to talk about; an administrator has already said that English names are the ones that should be used, so I will consider further reverts to be vandalism. JuJube (talk) 06:37, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Booklet 01.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

The policy problem here is that you're taking your information right from the (sadly illegal) fansub, and that can cause some legal problems. Could you start a topic on the talk page about it? Thanks for uploading File:FireEmblem3DS.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. Proposed deletion of Konjiki no Gash Bell!! Movie 2: Attack of the Mecha-Vulcan

The article Konjiki no Gash Bell!! Movie 2: Attack of the Mecha-Vulcan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable work that was only released in Japan

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Old Fashioned (film). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. COI

edit

An allegation of COI is a serious one. If you can't back it up, and you can't, you should retract it. Niteshift36 (talk) 02:47, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

I back it up by the multiple claims you've received, as well as the fact that from your edits, it's pretty clear you're trying to cherry pick criticism of a negatively reviewed movie by promoting one of its few positive reviews and including a "mixed" review while quoting one of its few positive quotes (in other words, providing nothing but positive quotes for a primarily negatively reviewed movie). If you don't have a COI, then in the very least you have a clear bias towards it and don't want to see it portrayed as negative despite that being the reception it has received. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a place where one can promote movies they like; it is an objective grounds. Buh6173 (talk) 02:51, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Have you actually read COI? What you mean is bias. What you're trying to make a case for is bias. I suspect you haven't actually given it thought and just blurted out "COI". Try actually reading COI and then tell me which of the criteria you think you can prove. If you honestly think you can make that case, I invite you to go to ANI and make it. In fact, if you think you can make a COI case, I strongly encourage you to make the ANI complaint. I haven't "promoted" anything. I've simply tried to present the part that hasn't been presented. Niteshift36 (talk) 02:57, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Which you already did with a singular positive review. But burying criticism will do nothing but warp the truth, so knock it off. And like I said, regardless of whether or not you have a COI, it's clear that in the very least you are showcasing bias towards the film.Buh6173 (talk) 03:01, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • First, I didn't bury criticism. the section leads with how it was pretty negative on RT. All I did was show that ALL critics didn't hate it. Second, I'm not "playing a game". Third, I posted a second review only because you made the claim that "If it's the only place giving the movie a good review...", so I demonstrated that it wasn't the only place. Otherwise, I wouldn't have added it. Lastly, I will ask once again: Back up the COI allegation or retract it. You made the allegation. If you made a mistake, show some good faith and admit you made a mistake. Niteshift36 (talk) 03:06, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Actually, you appear to be developing a bias at this point, feeling you need to show a counter to every review. I note that you edit pretty infrequently, but your last edit was also a Christian film that you had issues with. Niteshift36 (talk) 03:09, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:16, 14 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. One Piece

edit

The article was once tagged with the excessive plot tag due to the edits you recently made. That was one of the reasons it was shortened. For the article to be maintained, it is not recommended to mention every single moment in the manga and give a short summary of it, which is what the Premise summary does. -- 1989 (talk) 15:23, 16 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

I didn't see any such tag. Was that added automatically, or did you add it? Either way is erroneous, as without it there is no plot summary. Buh6173 (talk) 07:14, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
It's not there now because of me. I made improvements to the article and made it up to standard. What you're adding is making that backwards. -- 1989 (talk) 07:17, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Because of the tags I linked here, I was the one that removed the plot summary and made a premise section. It would make more sense to have a overview of the manga instead of constantly updating the plot summary until the manga is over, which won't happen any time soon. The change was almost two years ago, and no one challenged my change because I knew what I was doing. And yes, I reverted you again because you made it seem you were refusing to discuss. I wasn't aware of your reply until now. -- 1989 (talk) 07:27, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Refer to WP:BRD before reverting me again. -- 1989 (talk) 07:30, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
If you still disagree with my changes, refer to WT:ANIME to gain consensus. -- 1989 (talk) 07:35, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Adding a summary is not "making the article backwards". The "Premise" only gives the bare bones outline. Again, look at any other similar manga series (Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach), and you'll see a full plot synopsis. Unless you can provide me with any kind of actual justification as to why One Piece would be exempt, I'm putting it back, because reversions without probable cause is essentially vandalism. Buh6173 (talk) 17:53, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
You're basically edit warring if you keep readding it. I have already advised you to gain consensus for your bold changes as my concerns are valid here. You call it vandalism, I call it an revert from an editor who is experienced in editing the article longer than you. -- 1989 (talk) 21:11, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Pretty sure I didn't initiate this "edit war". Regardless, take discussion to Talk:One Piece. Buh6173 (talk) 22:53, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:The House in Fata Morgana OST Disc 1-2 Cover.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:The House in Fata Morgana OST Disc 1-2 Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Your recent editing history at Spider-Man: No Way Home shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
