Hi. Not sure why this has a notability notice. This is one of the most historic institutions in Kolkata and so deserves an article. Admittedly, there's not much there yet, but I'll help to expand, as I obtain information. As I don't live in Kolkata, and I've only been to the Club a couple of times, I'm not in the best position to provide authoritative information, but I'll certainly help. Right, the notability notice has been removed (by yours truly) and I've added a little more about the Club. It's an interesting story, because it broke the rigid colour bar of the time when it was founded. Hopefully the historical significance of this institution can overcome the prejudice of some 'editor' - who hasn't had the courtesy to explain why he put up the notice in the first place. Hurrumph.
