editDon't delete!! - This company has ties with GM America, and tuned the engine for the Holden Monaro GTS. It's a well known engine tuner, and all it needs is its article to be expanded.

- While I do not know a lot about Callaway Cars, Inc., I am an aspiring author, and can help in a rewrite of this article. Whoever wrote this article clearly knows what they are talking about, but perhaps the article lacks neutrality. If this person so wishes, we can go over this on the discussion page. I hope I can help. I love cars and I thoroughly enjoy Wikipedia. Jason Keyes 18:30, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Won the race?
editI reverted a fair amount of WP:BLP violations that took issue with the claim that Callaway won a race in 1973. I simply removed mention of the win from the article. Although you have to look at the wiki markup to see it, the claim is sourced to the subject's website. Here's the paragraph as it read previously:
- In 1973, the racing driver, Reeves Callaway was not in a financial position to be able to continue his racing career, despite having just won the National Championship in SCCA's Formula Vee.[1] Like many out of work drivers, Callaway went to work as a driving instructor for Bob Bondurant's racing school.[1]
In the midst of the vandalism, there was a site posted that purported to list the results sheet from the race showing that Callaway was disqualified. That site is here. Since I don't know a thing about racing, and the scan seemed to pass the "straight face" test, I list it here for more knowledgeable people to handle. Xymmax (talk) 20:46, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
