Rebuilding plans
editI've removed the external link regarding the rebuilding plans as they are not going to take place. Lu2007 26/7/07 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lu2007 (talk • contribs) 14:57, 26 July 2007
- Could you add the external link back (if possible) , it is gonna be rebuilt!Vincent60030 (talk) 06:53, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Vincent60030: You're replying to a post from more than seven years ago; and Lu2007 hasn't edited since 2008. The chances of a response from Lu2007 are extremely low. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:15, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
Station layout diagram
editThe destinations south of Camden Town are wrong, as the eastmost lines go to Charing Cross via Mornington Crescent and the westmost ones to Bank. Thus the labels "to Charing Cross via West End" and "to City via Bank" should be exchanged. Also, the positioning of the "upper level" and "lower level" labels implies that the former applies to platforms 3/4 and the latter to platforms 1/2, whereas it should be 1/3 and 2/4 respectively.←86.186.142.172 (talk) 10:32, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
- You're right, I swapped the station labels in the second diagram, unfortunately the first diagram now doesn't match the second one. The first diagram would need a redraw. Z28G (talk) 09:38, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Z28G: You're replying to a post from more than ten years ago; and since you first edited in December 2019, I don't see how you could have made any edits that 86.186.142.172 was expressing concern about. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 21:02, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Changes to section on rebuilding plans
editI have updated the article. Wotton railway station (talk) 15:32, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Wotton railway station: No you have not. You have made exactly the same revert that got you blocked a week ago. If you continue to do that, the next block will be longer. Instead, you should discuss here why your changes are beneficial to the article. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:44, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- I have updated the article again. The old version was out of date and waffled on about plans that are now 10 years out of date and not ahppening. Wotton railway station (talk) 17:26, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- The way to update the article is not to remove sourced material as though the changes were never proposed and there was no protest that led to their abandonment. It is to replace old material with information on the changes that were proposed and why they did not take place. Britmax (talk) 18:08, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Wotton railway station: First of all, do no edit war please. That is a sure way to get blocked. AIUI, info currently in the article is now outdated. There were developments planned that are now not taking place and different things are planned to take place. The outdated info is referenced. Your additions are not and are being reverted.
- The (now) historical plans should still be mentioned in the article, with their references. Such section should be rewritten for tense. New plans should be mentioned too, with suitable references that back the info up. Suggest that you present a proposed rewrite on this talk page for consensus to be gained. Mjroots (talk) 18:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Indeed; if new information needs to be added, then add it, but the existing information should not be removed, but given a new historical context if needed. 331dot (talk) 20:20, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Section rewritten, with new citations and historical context.Turini2 (talk) 22:14, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
