Getting spammed with promotional copy

edit

This article needs more substance to it, but what is there is too often getting replaced with the latest promotional copy put out by the artist's management. Keep an eye out for this.Eclecticlibrarian (talk) 02:48, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

My recent edits

edit

I see that since my last visit some months ago some editors (most notably North800) have done a lot of good work to expand the article with text and citations. My hats off to you! Today I have done some formatting that I believe is more in line with WP:MOS and I've done some other clean up such as put the photo in the infobox, take care of some WP:Overlinking and made some copy edits too. I look forward to working together to makes this a great article. Cheers!--KeithbobTalk 13:59, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh, one other comment. I see that a lot of the citations are not formatted correctly. If any editors have time to clean this up, they can see the correct format see here as the citation should look something like this:
Finn, Gary (31 August 1998), [http:/TheIndpendent.com "What a growing lad needs is a naughty book, says Blair"], The Independent (London), accessed on August 31, 2012
And again thanks for all the great work here!--KeithbobTalk 14:06, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Cool! I know the lead needs work, I was leaving that for later; currently focusing on building content and references/cites. I was planning on putting a different picture in the info box but that can be later. IMHO there is not an "incorrect" regarding cite formats, but help making them better would be nice & appreciated. Yes, it makes sense to build the body then work on the lead. I do it the same way. And no problem changing the infobox pix later. Let me know how I can help. Cheers!--KeithbobTalk 01:06, 3 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
