Claimed budget
editThe claim in the lead that, "Hammer Film Productions invested the equivalent of £37,000 in 2009 currency to produce the film," seems immensely suspect. That amount in 2009 is equivalent to just £850 in 1961, at a time when Hammer was spending around £100k on each film. Although cited to the Hearn & Barnes book, it seems more likely to me that the figure was £37,000 or perhaps the writers converted a known contemporary US dollar (or other currency) figure to the Sterling equivalent. Extremely good film
editJust watched this on a full-size screen in a local library. The movie is very well-acted by the whole cast and you've never seen Cushing like this. Rocketvault (talk) 20:55, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
