editThe statement The island was baptized "Santa Catalina" by Christopher Columbus, who visited it in May, 1494. is not true, Columbus was visiting Cuba from April until July 1494. -- 178.25.108.222 (talk) 11:41, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

editThis article currently includes a couple of external links in the main body. Do those really need to be there? They don't seem like particularly useful or necessary inclusions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.21.43.93 (talk) 15:08, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
