Is there any information out there about the sum which has been paid to Censilia Dataström? Please add info and links.

The text is incomplete without a major criticism section? Censilia Maelstrom is known for trampling on national constitutions with her European demands. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.131.69.218 (talk) 10:37, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Clean IT

edit

Malmström is currently responsible for a project preparing universal control over all European internet content. This initiative is not based on the fight against child-pornography, but terrorism. It is designed to be implemented without any parliamentary process.

Sources?

edit

"Her close friends describe her as an extremely intelligent person, with a correct judgment, a strong determination and an iron will when it comes to protect and defend what is good and moral ." sounds like she wrote it herself. What is the source for this statement? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.157.41.160 (talk) 13:58, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Public Opinion

edit

The public opinion section is purest PR babble! A real view of the public opinion can be found in a huge number of European publications, and most of it is absolutely not positive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.157.62.99 (talk) 17:32, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Was kind of disgusted by it. So I removed the "Public opinion" section, as it is all positive, unsubstantiated, without any sources. It reads like a campaign pamphlet for Ms Malmström, for God's sake! Wikipedia is supposed to be better than this. Unless someone can find sources backing all of that up, it should remain deleted. 85.24.202.90 (talk) 01:34, 7 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

She wrote this herself

edit

How would a source know she has a 'good start' on a language and why would any source mention that? She wrote this herself. It reads like website self-biograhpy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.12.183.6 (talk) 20:49, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Criticism Section

edit

Criticism Section URGENTLY needed. That woman is like a circular saw blade jumped off the axle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:45:491D:7D6:6D23:3C1:13F2:933C (talk) 02:11, 24 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'll just leave this here...

"When put to her, Malmström acknowledged that a trade deal has never inspired such passionate and widespread opposition. Yet when I asked the trade commissioner how she could continue her persistent promotion of the deal in the face of such massive public opposition, her response came back icy cold: “I do not take my mandate from the European people.”"

Looked at this to determine the matter of fact and find the quoted statement is essentially true. First DG TRADE is a corporatist body as is the entire EU directorate structure. I also don't find any statement of commitment to democracy as a principle for the EU generally, except as it emerges from the practice of the member states, otherwise the EU is and always has been a Trade Federation. So the statement is true and correct at many levels, dispelling perhaps some illusions some people might have. 108.183.102.223 (talk) 13:06, 4 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
