Plot hole
editRight now, in the plot summary, it is said that his wife sets the clock behind 10 minutes. Actually, in the film, she sets it ahead 10 minutes. This is a plot hole, as this would make him earlier for things, rather than late, but that is what happens. Should we keep it as "behind" and have it make sense, or switch it to "ahead" for more accuracy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.207.206.210 (talk) 17:37, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe in Canada they have a different perspective on time? As someone whose wife has a habit of setting clocks "ahead" (advancing the time forward w.r.t. the actual time) I found that point in the film to be a little bit off, but I got over it. It may have just been a poor choice of words since they never fully explain it, it is just alluded to that the wall clock shows 8:15 when it was really 8:25, which could be thought of as "ahead" depending on your choice of perspective. --Jmeden2000 (talk) 16:17, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
