I am improving on article and have already added biography citations since your recommendation was posted. Will add more to flesh out biography to wiki standards. Thank you.AuthorAuthor (talk) 23:01, 18 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
The article seems to be coming along nicely. I've gone ahead and removed the statements regarding Gideon's Crossing for the following reasons:
The Gideon's Crossing page at IMDB makes no mention of Charis Michelsen,
The Charis Michelsen page at IMDB makes no mention of Gideon's Crossing,
A Google search of both "Charis Michelsen" and "Gideon's Crossing" reveals two hits: a promotional website for a film, and an online DVD store selling an unrelated Michelsen project.
As the source for this claim was a website constructed with the sole purpose of promoting one of Michelsen's films, it likely does not meet the standard of reliability for Wikipedia. This is especially so, given that claiming the lead role on a major network's television show can be seen as rather exceptional. If it is the case that Michelsen took the role and never appeared because the show was canceled, this is unfortunate; but in the absence of verification from an independent, reliable source, I cannot see how it can be included in Wikipedia. Removed notability box, since notability has been established with background citations and sources, per wiki guidelines. Improved article considerably.AuthorAuthor (talk) 09:20, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
