  • I can't get the image I uploaded to commons to display in the Infobox using |image=LTC Charles A. Hines (c. 1979).jpg. It will display, however, in the body of the article using the same method that {{Infobox person}} uses:
{{#invoke:InfoboxImage|InfoboxImage|image=LTC_Charles_A._Hines_(c._1979).jpg}}
I've tried with both spaces and underscores, "%28" instead of '(', etc.
Update: Fixed. Thanks to User:Connormah for noticing the extra set of blank params later down in the template. Doh! —[AlanM1(talk)]— 14:17, 6 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • In this pic from 2005, long after his retirement, Hines is clearly wearing the SSI of the 18th Military Police Brigade, based in Sembach, Germany. The bios I've read make no mention of this and have him retiring from Fort McClellan in 1992. Also, this is the highest-res pic I can find, and it's going to be tough to read some of his ribbons from it. A DD-214 or complete list of units and awards would be helpful. Can anyone find one? —[AlanM1(talk)]— 10:49, 6 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
