editJust to let anyone know who might be curious, I am making a minor edit of one of his son's names. It is actually Charles Keith, not Keither, and I would happen to know because I am his granddaughter. It can also be found in a Time magazine article here: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,824705,00.html Lizz7372 04:20, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Bot-created subpage
editA temporary subpage at User:Polbot/fjc/Charles Evans Whittaker was automatically created by a perl script, based on this article at the Biographical Directory of Federal Judges. The subpage should either be merged into this article, or moved and disambiguated. Polbot (talk) 00:19, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Civil Rights Act
editThe article cited to support the claim that Justice Whittaker criticized the Civil Rights Act does not, in fact, mention him by name at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.196.166.213 (talk) 08:27, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- I checked the reference and came to the same conclusion, I've added {{Failed verification}} to the sentence, if it's not corrected soon I will remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by InsaneHacker (talk • contribs) 09:29, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
Removed section for lack of proper citation
editI've removed the following section, since the citation has nothing to do with the claim it is supporting:
- Like many conservatives at the time, he criticized the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as unconstitutional.[1]
If someone wishes to reinsert the claim, please provide an adequate citation. Thank you. Respectfully, InsaneHacker (💬) 18:18, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
