editThis page is a stub and insufficiently neutral. There are some who don't believe this film is actually a true story as it claims to be.

British film?
editI just watched this on Netflix. Watched the "director's tribute" too. The director was American (born in Iowa), every other voice I heard on the tribute was American-sounding, it premiered in the US (LA, to be specific), Nora Lam escaped from China to Hong Kong and later immigrated to the US and became a US citizen according to the DVD's biography of her, and IMDB says it's a US film. Not having seen any evidence of this being a British film -- or any connection to the UK at all, I think this film has been incorrectly identified as British here. Hopefully someone will follow up with a correction and some proper sources and so forth.
