He was employed in All India Radio and retired in 1981. At that time AIR prohibited publicity to station artistes. Even in programs broadcast by AIR itself, the names of the in-artistes would not be announced but simply announced as "Station artistes". After retirement in 1981 he went to a village and started teaching music to students. Therefore, he was not in the limelight.
Although I know his name, it was almost impossible to find anything on the Internet. Luckily, I found a news item on a website dedicated to Carnatic music that gave a synopsis about his career.
I wrote the article with that one citation. All information found in the article are drawn from that obituary news item.
