Cho Seung-hee (entertainer) → Cho Seung-hee – While I wasn't familiar with this person, I can imagine it's somewhat of a nasty surprise for her fans to try to find her on Wikipedia and end up on the page of a mass murderer. She comes up far more often in normal and image Google searches (Books largely returns unrelated people). "Cho Seung-hee" is an uncommon rendering at best of the shooter's name. My only hesitation with this move is that a hatnote for the shooter might look unseemly too. I'm open to having a hatnote or not, and hope editors will weigh in on this question. --BDD (talk) 16:11, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support no need for hatnote In ictu oculi (talk) 18:31, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment the lead says the entertainer is better known as "Cho Yi-hyun", and a quick google search shows more pages under that name. Is there a reason it shouldn't be moved to Cho Yi-hyun per WP:COMMONNAME?--Ortizesp (talk) 19:37, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Google results are returning another actress Cho Yi-hyun born 1999 - it isn't this idol who only changed her stage name in July. This idol has had the stagename Seunghee for far longer Evaders99 (talk) 08:35, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support Neutral on the hatnote; it depends on if readers get Cho Seung-hee and Seung-Hui Cho easily confused, but they probably won't. Some1 (talk) 01:37, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support Seung-hee is not Seung-hui, and I don't see any reason that the misspelling would be the primary topic. Undecided on whether a hatnote is needed; Cho Seung-hui was who I first thought of seeing this name. power~enwiki (π, ν) 05:53, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
