Weird issue with "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide"
editIs there some reason that user 184.254.135.7 seemingly is obsessed with changing the correct title of "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" to the incorrect title "Neds?" What is the deal here? It isn't in debatable or in question: look here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned%27s_Declassified_School_Survival_Guide So...why the back and forth? Stop changing it, ok?Greg Fasolino (talk) 03:40, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

Enough with the childish back and forth dueling between the Twilight fans and the Ned's fans, ok? It is silly and doesn't belong here on Wikipedia. I have no dog in this fight, I don't care about either Twilight or Ned's. I do care about the article's facts being correct. So, whoever the immature person is who keeps removing references to Ned's, just stop. It's not your place to decide what facts are worth mentioning and which you don't like.Greg Fasolino (talk) 00:25, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

I agree. They seem weirdly obsessed with trying to remove any references to this actress's first major TV role. Why I don't know, but it's ridiculous.Greg Fasolino (talk) 05:59, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
I would appreciate it if you and others here would help me out so I am not the only on reverting the changes. This person is now accusing me of being an obsessed fan LOL. I've never even seen anything Ms. Serratos has done aside from her "Walking Dead" episodes and I am not a particularly big fan. I just dislike when a person tries to impose their personal views into what should be a neutral, fact-based, inclusive, encyclopedia-style article. There is no good reason why they are removing any reference to "Ned's" aside from subjective preference. I have asked them to talk here, and they refuse. Anyone else willing to jump in and explain to this person how Wikipedia works (i.e, by consensus). Thank youGreg Fasolino (talk) 05:37, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- I noticed that and saw that the person's ip has changed again. I tried requesting at WikiProject Biography but no answer. So I'll just tag with help me in this talk page. ☴ Jaewon [Talk] 14:12, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- I would say, if it is an IP jumping user that is vandalizing or otherwise messing with the page, that issue would be more suited for WP:ANI. Thanks, TheMesquitobuzz 16:11, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. ☴ Jaewon [Talk] 17:55, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
Just to add, as of Nov. 8, 2014, this user has not only continued to try to vandalize the page, but has now began stalking and personally harassing me online. He/she found my YouTube account and has been posting hostile and harassing spam messages on my videos. I want to note this as this has escalated way beyond an article dispute and I want to document the fact that I have been personally harassed by them. For the record, their current username is 166.176.56.161.Greg Fasolino (talk) 00:25, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

166.170.45.181 (talk) 20:30, 29 September 2014 (UTC) The user you have agreed to help is an obsessed fan that has been told by PD to no longer contact Christian Serratos. Now he has taken to stalk and change all her social media. His obsession started 10 years ago when she appeared on a Nick show called Neds and now he changes all sites to say Neds at least 3 to 4 times. Which is irrelevant and Neds is in her filmography. He insists on it being on the top of her site. Please undo. Thanks you.
I read the above, I do not have the time this fan does to understand the ways to manipulate each social media site. He has been on here under several names. As this is in part my job I need to keep this clean from specifically Greg. He has been on here before and banned under another name. He did the same to her page back then and Wikipedia banned him. Now he has a new user or name or both and is being just as disturbing. This fan wants direct contact and we were told that is not going to stop him. It will only encourage him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.170.45.181 (talk) 20:36, 29 September 2014 (UTC) I am warning you, your statements here are not only bizarre and untruthful, but verging on slanderous. I don't know if this is all a joke to you, or who you think I am, but I have been an editor on Wikipedia for many years and have never used anything other than my real name. My edit history is there for all to see and has no bearing on anything you have said here. In fact, you can find me and my work history easily via Google, Facebook or LinkedIn, so I would kindly advise you to stop trolling. Your conduct has escalated from mere page vandalism to personal attacks and making up insane stories about people. Stop now or you will be reported.Greg Fasolino (talk) 20:51, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- Not done: Inexplicable removal of what appears to be her breakout role. It will of course appear in the article body. Cannolis (talk) 23:30, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

166.170.5.114 (talk) 20:46, 29 September 2014 (UTC) The user was using Patapasco913 and banned before by Geoffrey Lane.
The Neds name is used both on IMDb and several sites. That is not the dispute. The name can stay as is. This user is infatuated with her at this period and adds best known as, as well as her character did, she was there how many seasons, her nickname was, her shoes were, her hair was, she skipped this episode. Things that are not true and not relevant. He overrides and vandalizes her boards with this.
Again, whoever you are talking about here, if they even exist, are not me. I have used only my real name, Greg Fasolino, as a Wikipedia editor of many years standing. Slander is not funny. I also have never added or written about the things you list here. I merely restored your repeated deletions that everyone else has told you are not credible.Greg Fasolino (talk) 20:53, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- Not done: flagrant abuse of edit requests and bizarre personal attacks Cannolis (talk) 23:31, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
User has persisted in vandalism attempts using new names. Is there anything else we can do to dissuade them from continuing this bizarre series of recurring edits? Greg Fasolino (talk) 19:59, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- You could request semiprotection of the article seeing as this user edits from IP account, was planning on doing so myself if s/he made another edit Cannolis (talk) 00:53, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Would appreciate if you could do this, Cannolis. It's pretty obvious that this person changes their user name every few days with the express purpose of trying to vandalize this page. The latest username is "Preppy12". He or she obviously doesn't understand how Wikipedia works, what an encyclopedic article is, or even basics of writing (i.e, that persons should be referred to by surname only after the first reference). As I mentioned elsewhere, this person has also made personal harassing remarks towards me here and on other sites due to not getting their way with vandalizing the article, and he or she makes bizarre accusations (as you noted, they changed the surname incorrectly to Cerritos and then complained that I had made the change). It would be advantageous if you could request semiprotection so that maybe Preppy12 (aka 166.176.56.161 aka 166.170.48.38 aka 166.170.5.93 aka 166.170.5.18 aka 166.170.5.115) will be dissuaded from continuing their off-base edits.Greg Fasolino (talk) 20:37, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
- At this point the Preppy account is autoconfirmed and be able to edit semiprotected articles. I think I'll have to go to AN/I Cannolis (talk) 00:18, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
