Query Station Location exchanges
edit@ some point in the movie Martin (Boris Ler) di son of Divko Buntić (Miki Manojlović) exchanges QSLs with someone on a ham radio powered with some "military antenna that amplifies the signal 700 times so he can talk to 'America'".
Because the broadcasting takes place during the night is probably a medium-short-wave broadcasting in order to take advantage of ionosphere changes so they can travel by skywave.
The small conversation that takes place seems to be:
- (Radio noise)
- - "This is C C G Alpha Three Delta Charlie Charlie can anyone hear me?
- - And he answers "This is Y U 4 A B A I can hear you far by night"
- - "(Radio noise) I can hear you ten by ten"
It doesn't seem like they are using the NATO phonetic alphabet ("C" should be "Charlie" and "G" should be "Golf").
Anyway ... a better transcript of what the QSLs are would be appreciated.
Thank you.
