Philip's Peer Review
editThe paragraph does a good job of presenting relevant information in a concise manner.
In terms of structure, I like how you decided to put all the information on civil society in one section as it seems like you intend to discuss other aspects about Lusophone Africa. Considering the fact that you titled this section civil society, I think the first two sentences about how free Lusophone countries are can be added to another section and solely devote your focus on civil society in this section. I would suggest adding a couple more sentences of detail on Angola and Mozambique on the respective country's civil society.
I think you did a great job retaining neutrality in this paragraph. The reliable data presented on how free each country is clear and unbiased as well as your information on opposition parties struggling in Angola and the role of the Catholic church in Mozambique. I think you should be good in terms of neutrality as long as you keep doing what you have done in this paragraph.
In terms of references and reliable sources: all citations worked properly, and they were reliable sources that are up to date. When you add more detailed information on civil societies in Lusophone countries, I suggest utilizing more academic/scholarly articles like your 6th source, so you can add detailed information from reliable sources and possibly present both sides of the picture if there are any areas of contention.
Hi Philip,
Thank you so much for your peer review. My partner and I will work together to use the suggestions you made. I appreciate your mentioning of the tone of neutrality, I'll continue to emulate it to the best of my ability. Regarding sources, I'm glad to hear the citations worked properly, I'll keep using resources like the 6th source you mentioned I'm future drafts. Thank you!
