Usually tables on Wikipedia are in chronological order. Why are the tables for feature films, short films, and documentary films in reverse chronological order, yet the table for awards and nominations is in chronological order? BillyBigBro (talk) 03:10, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
You are totally right about this. I have corrected these tables. Chronological order seems to be the standard for a director's filmography. That's how, say Kelly Reichardt and Stanley Kubrick have theirs formatted. It's even how Denis' filmography is formatted on the French version of this page (which seems to have been translated to produce some of the content for the English version).
I didn't see any arguments against this on this talk page or in the edit history, so I marked most of the edits as minor since this is just a formatting update. It's possible that some of the tables will need to be edited to reorder films released in the same year.
