POV miss

edit

In the second paragraph the two parentheticals that encapsulate "mis" seem clumsy at best and an interjection of POV from the author. Although I can't for the life of me figure out what that point of view is. Are they saying that the "use of brutal and inhumane torture," is ok if its not misused?

"The film exhibits the use of brutal and inhumane torture to coerce confessions from innocent victims of unjust persecution."

This sounds better to me. It speaks to the intention of the story teller and not the writer of the article. (11:38, 4 January 2006 Billyjoekoepsel)

reasons for keeping her...

i thought that in the end, HE was the one who molested her, and could be why he wanted to torture her? 75.25.180.72 02:54, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

You are half right. He was the one who molested her, but that's not why she was taken prisoner. At least, not to my recollection. --Magmagirl 21:30, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Not quite, he claimed to be the one who molested. But he very likely only did this as a way to try and 'break' her down even more. Tragic really. --Daydreamer302000 (talk) 13:03, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Spoiler warning?

I didn't know Wikipedia provided spoiler warnings? That seems a bit immature. I'm going to remove it unless there's an objection. The Sound and the Fury (talk) 02:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
