Is his rank really "Colonel" in the English version?
In the German version, he is called "Obersturmbannführer", which is an SS-Rank equivalent to an "Oberstleutnant" in the army. This would be a Lieutenant Colonel, not a Colonel in English. --217.247.141.14323:37, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Dr Schneider refers to him at least once as „Herr Oberst“ (beginning of Chapter 17, 56:47 in the Blu-Ray version), which does translate to “Colonel”. —DSGalaktos (talk) 19:49, 31 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
