Last line of introduction is false. It reads “ Additionally, Rice is the highest-ranking African American woman in the history of the United States.” This was true until Kamala Harris assumed the office of Vice President on Jan 20 2021. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.51.73.91 (talk) 20:41, 4 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Deleted Controversies ?

edit

There was an uproar when she was called to the Dropbox board bc she is considered co-responsible for torture, surveillance and the illegal Irak war 2003 (just a few hundred thousand deads, millions of wounded invalids, widows and orphans. "Shit happens"!? In a big german newspaper she is at last quoted to be ashamed:

Change Secretary Rice's position on gay marriage. She discussed this on a podcast with Bari Weiss and said she now supports gay marriage. 2601:152:C80:7340:59ED:B8E1:BB89:8EAD (talk) 04:29, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why is her Directorship of Hoover Institution in her info box?

edit

I thought that titles in the info box were reserved for notable public sector roles? Wouldn't the Hoover Institution be a nonprofit? Or is it because it is affiliated with Stanford? Arlinosam (talk) 19:00, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Religion?

edit

As a believer (or even if not), a section on such beliefs from a well-known person (such as Condoleezza Rice) is in order.

Religious views would fit nicely above Music in the Family and Personal Life section.

Anyone else noticing that many articles are omitting the person's religious influences? Rlpmjp3 (talk) 04:47, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

The statement “ At the time of her appointment as Secretary of State, Rice was the highest-ranking woman in the history of the United States to be in the presidential line of succession.” should be clarified. Even though Madeline Albright served as the 64th United States secretary of state from 1997 to 2001. A member of the Democratic Party, she was the first woman to hold that post, she was not qualified per Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution.

Spelling and capitalization

edit

Please change "National Security Advisor" to "national security adviser"

This will make correct both the capitalization and spelling of the term. Charles Maigret (talk) 15:19, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
