Talk:Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

Cleanup

edit

Synopsis needs to be rewritten. It's sort of run-on and stream of consciousness. --Lendorien 23:10, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think the clean up either should be removed. I cleaned up the trivia section and got rid of vandalism that made this movie look like it was about drugs. I actually might change the date of the clean up so it will become more noticed. Cartman924 (talk) 18:05, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cep, not Step or Steppe

edit

The page on the obnoxious official site that is cited as to her surname makes an abusive ref, and i'm replacing it with an IMDb page. BTW, if you feel the need to confirm that they agree on the name, on the official site you can click on both of the "ON" links to turn off the music and yack.

Why is her name pronounced "step"? Is that some kind of ethnic convention? —Codrdan (talk) 02:45, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Who knows really. I have googled, but found no sources discussing it. It was "Cep" in the book the movie is based on, but maybe Disney was going to change it to "Step" to make it more accessible or something, but then changed its mind, or just forgot about it and went with "Cep" in their credits. But since the written material on the official site very clearly spells it "Cep", we should too. Siawase (talk) 10:05, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Filming location

edit

In the introduction is says it was primarily filmed in South Central LA and then further down it says it was primarily filmed in Canada. Is the first vandelism207.241.137.116 (talk) 16:22, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

When the film first came out (with both Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan!) I heard that a lot of it was filmed in Toronto, Canada. There's probably an old movie review on the Internet that mentions where it was shot. 71.148.52.82 (talk) 00:40, 17 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" is based on "Hello Dolly!"

edit

What a lot of people don't realize is that "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" is a very good rendering of the musical "Hello Dolly!". I would rate it as good or better than the Carol Channing movie version. In addition they use "My Fair Lady" also in their movie version so you get two musicals in one. Anybody know of any other movies that were based on "Hello Dolly!" 71.148.52.82 (talk) 00:50, 17 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
