editThis page needs major revamp as it only talks about sugar cooperative societies and their problems. 1) Need to create a section for Sugar sector. 2) Need to add information about other sectors like Milk and Edible Oil. The most successful cooperative societies, unions and federations in India are in Milk e.g. AMUL and Edible-Oil e.g.Dhara Gurudutt (talk) 08:07, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
Please start working on the Milk and Edible oil sectors. Don't not forget that there are vegetable and fruit cooperatives too. Good luck. Jonathansammy (talk) 21:49, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
Cooperatives in Kashmir
editAs compared to rest of India , I found that cooperative movement in Kashmir is not as good as in rest of the country. As I am working in the cooperative department in Budgam district and every primary level society, block level society , district level society & even jakfed or confed are dormant. What can be the possible reason and how can we bring our cooperative societies par with rest of India. Bandayjavaid (talk) 17:32, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

- Thank you. Why the "low-Importance"? RhinoMind (talk) 22:17, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- @User:RhinoMind Why, thank you. Well it's an oversight, it has been rightly marked as high-importance India related article. Can't say about other WikiProjects though.--Ankit (Talk with me) 09:40, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, yes. There are three categories, not just one. I can see it now. But who decides these things? I am just curious. RhinoMind (talk) 23:28, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- There are actually four categories, the highest being top-importance. You may see Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Assessment for a better understanding of the process.--Ankit (Talk with me) 01:49, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
