one copy-edit down, more to go
editGood morning. I have completed one strong copy-edit of this article, making the language more formal and more encyclopedic in style. The information in this article is strong, however it still reads much like a citizen complaint, and there is not much I can do as a copyeditor, short of cutting large sections (which would weaken the article.) Many of the statements in the article, although they may well be valid, need documentation and sourcing. I'd love to see someone with more experience in the area take this one up! My best to you, Hillbillygirl 12:48, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Redirection
editI have taken the very bold and aggressive step of redirecting the entire article to Corruption in India. The article was almost entirely unsourced. Worse, it was full of personal opinions and original research. It contained numerous external links violating WP:EL. The opening sections didn't even seem to be about Mumbai! Because the problems were manifest throughout the article, and I saw almost nothing sourced that could be saved, the only option I saw was to redirect the entire article. If someone wants to write a neutral, verified, non-OR piece, feel free to do so, but that means starting over from the beginning. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:10, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
