- Oppose. These are different concepts in the US. For example, Many National Forest roads are backroads, but they aren't generally considered to be country lanes. On the other hand, a long dirt driveway could be considered a country lane, but is not a backroad. Libcub (talk) 02:56, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
