The words "invented" and "occupations" in the first paragraph seem strange. Are these technical terms? If not, then something like "caused" for the first and something that makes sense for the latter.211.225.33.104 (talk) 00:39, 18 October 2014 (UTC)

I understand that the Credit Mobilier of America page has been redirected to the scandal page for one reason or another. Should there be a "see also" reference to that page from here, an unrelated French bank, or should this be handled by disambiguation instead?
