I noticed a couple problems. 1. "Oklahoma was the first state not to ratify the ERA[3] (Equal Rights Amendment) which allowed for gender discrimination to remain legal." Oklahoma's failure to ratify the ERA did not allow gender discrimination to remain legal. The ERA, even if ratified by Oklahoma, would not necessarily become law. 2. "Both Craig and Whitener used a 1971 Supreme court case, Reed v. Reed, in which the Oklahoma legislature had equalized the age for the purchase of alcohol, setting both at 18, but changed in when they faced a challenge from anti-liquor forces." The Reed case is about discriminating against women when naming estate administrators, and it took place in Idaho, not Oklahoma. The source says the Oklahoma legislature originally set equal ages after Reed v.
