editThis page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (your reason here) --harikishan (talk) 22:38, 19 July 2014 (UTC) I think images does not having any copyright problem and text is moved from main page of Telangana. In this contest i am supporting to this article. Thanks, hari (talk) 22:38, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- You are correct, and I have removed the Speedy tag. Sorry for the confusion! Electric Wombat (talk) 23:21, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- the particular text in question has only been on the main Telangana page for a short time, and the other site page [1] does not seem to have the proper indications that a wikipedia clone should be carrying. Are we sure that they got the content from us? Or was the main Telangana page in the one with the copyright vio? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 23:29, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- and the footnote in the final section indicates that they were the source. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 23:48, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- Digging through the history, it looks like the Festivals section (for starters) evolved fairly organically over the last year, before this diff: [2] put it in the state that appears on the triangletelangana.org page, on Dec 8 2013. The web site has this blurb under "Latest news", and the citation to the cite was added to the article on June 2 2014. I guess we could ask the editor who made the Dec 8 change about sourcing, but since the diff looks like he just fleshed out the verbiage, keeping the festival names in mostly the same order, etc, I feel comfortable that the web site pulled their content from Wikipedia.
