The result of the move request was: moved. ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 03:40, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
Curtain (1920 film) → Curtain (film) – Move over redirect. There's only one film called "Curtain". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 13:49, 18 December 2019 (UTC) —Relisting. — Newslinger talk 06:31, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. A similarly-focused move request is currently active at Talk:The Fury (1978 film)#Requested move 18 December 2019. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 18:35, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:SMALLDETAILS. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 20:35, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Lugnuts: I don't follow you. WP:SMALLDETAILS says "When such navigation aids are in place, small details are usually sufficient to distinguish topics". "Curtain" is distinguished from the two films "Curtains" by the small detail of not being plural, not by the addition of a date disambiguator. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:58, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose per what WP:SMALLDETAILS used to say and should say. Clearly not beneficial to any readers to remove 1920. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:19, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
- @In ictu oculi: what do you mean? Every film should have a date disambiguator? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 22:01, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 22:03, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom and note that the opposes citing WP:SMALLDETAILS don't make sense (SMALLDETAILS says nothing upon which to base an opposition to this proposal), and the "not beneficial to any readers" argument is not based in policy, guidelines, or conventions, much less reality. It is beneficial to users that we title our articles according to a consistent set of principles, and that's all this proposal is about. The current title incorrectly implies that there is at least one other film named Curtain. No one benefits from such disinformation. --В²C ☎ 17:58, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
